INEB TERMS

Terms of Service

Effective August 20, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of the INEB website and services. By purchasing, submitting information to, or using an INEB service, you agree to these Terms.

Independent review — not legal representation. INEB provides informational and analytical review services. INEB is not a law firm, accounting firm, or financial advisory firm and does not provide legal representation, legal advice, tax advice, accounting advice, or other licensed professional services.

1. About INEB

INEB provides independent review and verification services intended to help consumers and businesses better understand bills, charges, transactions, documentation, and certain compliance-related obligations.

INEB may identify mathematical discrepancies, unusual charges, inconsistencies, duplicate entries, documentation issues, potential concerns, or matters that may deserve further clarification.

2. Legal Bill Review

INEB's Legal Bill Review examines attorney billing statements or invoices submitted by the customer. The review may consider billing entries, time amounts, rates, arithmetic, duplication, descriptions, totals, apparent inconsistencies, and other information contained in the submitted billing records.

Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, the current Legal Bill Review covers one legal matter and up to 25 pages of attorney billing statements.

Additional documents, later billing statements, separate legal matters, or submissions beyond the included page limit may require an additional review or additional fee.

3. What a Review Does Not Establish

An INEB finding does not automatically establish that a lawyer, law firm, company, professional, or other party acted improperly or unlawfully.

Some findings may be mathematically or documentarily confirmed, while others may identify items that deserve clarification or further review. Customers are responsible for deciding what action, if any, to take after receiving an INEB report.

4. No Attorney-Client or Professional Relationship

Using INEB does not create an attorney-client, accountant-client, fiduciary, financial advisory, or other licensed professional relationship.

INEB does not replace advice from an attorney, accountant, tax professional, financial professional, regulator, or other appropriately licensed or qualified professional.

5. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing documents that are reasonably complete and readable.
  • Providing accurate information to the best of their knowledge.
  • Submitting only documents they are authorized to provide.
  • Removing or redacting sensitive information that is not needed for the review.
  • Reviewing INEB's findings and deciding independently what action to take.
  • Seeking qualified professional advice when appropriate.

6. Document Submission and Redaction

Customers may redact personal or sensitive information that is not necessary for the requested review.

Information necessary to conduct the review — such as billing dates, time entries, rates, descriptions, charges, and totals — should remain readable.

Customers should not submit an entire legal case file when billing statements or invoices are sufficient for the requested Legal Bill Review.

7. Payment

Payment is due according to the price displayed when the service is purchased.

Payment processing may be handled by a third-party payment provider. INEB may change pricing, service limits, or available service packages prospectively.

8. Refunds and Incomplete Submissions

Because INEB services involve review and analysis performed after a customer submits documents, refund eligibility may depend on whether work has begun.

If INEB cannot reasonably perform the purchased review because required documents were not provided, are unreadable, or fall outside the stated service scope, INEB may request additional information before completing the review.

Any refund or adjustment offered by INEB will be determined based on the circumstances of the individual order and applicable law.

9. Turnaround and Availability

Any estimated completion time is an estimate unless INEB expressly states otherwise in writing.

Turnaround may be affected by document volume, incomplete submissions, technical issues, unusual complexity, or the need for clarification.

10. Communications

INEB currently communicates primarily by email and through its website. INEB does not presently provide telephone support unless specifically arranged.

Customers are responsible for providing a valid email address and monitoring that address for communications concerning their submission.

11. Third-Party Services

INEB may rely on third-party providers for website hosting, payments, file handling, communications, automation, storage, security, and other operational functions.

Use of those services may also be governed by the applicable provider's own terms and privacy practices.

12. No Guarantee of Financial Recovery or Outcome

INEB does not guarantee that a review will identify an error, reduce a bill, produce a refund, lead to a negotiated adjustment, change the position of another party, or result in any particular financial or legal outcome.

The value of an INEB review is the independent analysis and information provided, not a guaranteed result.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, INEB will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from the use of its website or services.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, INEB's total liability arising from a particular purchased service will not exceed the amount paid to INEB for that service.

14. Acceptable Use

You may not use INEB's website or services to submit unlawful material, interfere with the operation or security of the service, attempt unauthorized access, misrepresent your identity or authority, or use the service in a manner that violates applicable law.

15. Intellectual Property

The INEB name, branding, website content, original reports, designs, written materials, and other original INEB materials are owned by or licensed to INEB and may not be copied or commercially reused without permission except as permitted by law.

Customers may use reports prepared for them for their own personal or internal business purposes.

16. Privacy

INEB's handling of personal information is also governed by the INEB Privacy Policy.

17. Changes to Services or Terms

INEB may modify its website, services, pricing, operating procedures, or these Terms as the business develops.

Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Changes will apply prospectively except where otherwise required by law.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable United States law and, where applicable, the laws of the state in which INEB operates, without overriding rights that cannot lawfully be waived or limited.

19. Contact INEB

Questions concerning these Terms or an INEB service may be submitted through the Contact INEB page.
